I treat abstraction as a way to manipulate a subject of a body. A body understood in many aspects. When I examine mechanism of the living body I notice its complexity. Then I focus on the micro scale, where forms simultaneously recall the macro world – a celestial body and the cosmos. But on the other hand, I treat paintings as a kind of body with its physical carnality and memory of matter. Experiments with technology, medium and ground give me an opportunity to bring their nature out.
